 The organisers of Shape Up, a school-community approach to influence the health determinants for healthy and balanced growth, were invited to present the results of the project as a best practice for international health-promoting school initiatives at the 3rd European Conference on Health-Promoting Schools held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 15 to 17 June 2009.

 More than 200 participants from across Europe, including members of the scientific community, science education policy-makers and teacher trainers, took part on 29 May 2009 in the Pollen European Conference, which was held in Berlin, Germany. The pilot project on primary science education is coming to an end after a three-year period, and conclusions and further development plans were shared in Berlin.

 La tercera edición del proyecto educativo ¡Crea tus textos! de la Fundación Coca-Cola Juan Manuel Sáinz de Vicuña, desarrollada durante el curso escolar 2008-2009, ha sido todo un éxito. Más de 14.900 alumnos del 2º ciclo de la ESO de 803 centros de toda España inscritos en el proyecto han participado en el taller de escritura creativa. Se han publicado miles de relatos que se pueden encontrar entrando en la página web www.creatustextos.net .
