Personal profile

I work for PAU EDUCATION, since June 2010, as a Human Resources Manager. My daily tasks involve giving my support to the Company as well as to my General Manager by recruiting new professionals, designing new profiles, evaluating people and adding value to Pau Education. We aim do this by developing people and contributing to improve our working environment. We believe that when high motivation is present in the workplace the results achieved are better. I studied Psychology in the University of Barcelona, specializing myself in Clinical and Industrial areas. I hold a postgraduate degree in Psycho phisiology (Hospital Clinic de Barcelona) as well as in Management by the Open University, UK. I have also undertaken several courses in Marketing and in educational Training. In the past I have worked as a Clinical psychologist for a period of ten years. This was after finishing my studies, however later on I realised that I would like to change my career orientation towards business and Consulting. As such I worked as a Head Hunter and Human Resources Consultant for a Company based Barcelona, called ABZ Rosvel. ABZ Rosvel is a member of Search Net International. Unfortunately the financial crisis hit the Sector hard. With my current experience in Training and Emotional Intelligence as well as my Educational background, I now have the ability to work on and manage soft issues that help to improve those hard ones, such as financial benefits, etc. During the winter, I enjoy skiing, and I also enjoy going to the cinema, reading English literature and sharing my free time with friends and family.
