Coming from three Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), the participating organizations have demonstrated through various activities and best practices how mobility can change somebody’s life and help opening the world ‘Maailm Valla’ in Estonian.

P.A.U. Education’s team taking care of the campaign in this country – Krisztina Szabo and Aude Delesalle – have worked for weeks, together with the National Agency Archimedes and the local organizer, in order to provide the authorities that inaugurated the event on the first day, and the approximately 8.000 students and other visitors, the best activities representing the Baltic version of Move in Europe.

The venue was divided in six main areas, illustrating ‘the environment’, ‘civic education’, ‘culture and languages’, ‘entrepreneurship’, ‘diverse learning’ and ‘new skills’ projects.

In the centre of the hall, a ring provided the main stage to many entertaining activities. At the award ceremony for the national contest of young inventors, participants in the ‘Youth in Action’ programmes kept the audience entertained with their drums skills.

The event also featured pupils’ discussions on what it is like to study in an Italian school, followed by the performance by ZETOD, the popular music band which provided a special closing to a very successful second day.

Estonia‘s time on under the spotlight is now over, but the people involved stay motivated and active, still having many experiences to share.

At a European level, stay tuned as we will be back at the beginning of February 2012 with a new event, in Cyprus(Nicosia), proving that mobility is worth the effort. See you soon, YoM team!

P.A.U. Education creates and implements the communication campaign for Youth on the Move, a European Commission initiative to enhance young people’s education, culture, mobility and access to the job market across Europe.
