P.A.U. Education developed a Road Safety discussion programme for the AXA GroupP.A.U. Education developed a discussion programme for the AXA Group called “AXA Road Safety Awareness”. P.A.U. is well experienced in designing discussion programmes and training schemes in Road Safety issues. As a result, the AXA Group approached P.A.U. Education in order to implement this course. The AXA Group is one of the most important insurance groups in the world and as a company whose business is to protect people over the long term, they feel they have a responsibility to leverage skills, resources, and risk expertise to build a stronger and safer society. Every year nearly 1.3 million people die on the roads worldwide and by developing this programme they are passively collaborating with the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011- 2020, a campaign for global road safety.
The programme developed by P.A.U. Education contains various guidelines and visual aids to help AXA employees carry out the discussion programme themselves without active interaction from Road Safety experts. One of the visual aids is a video guide (an example of the discussion itself) shot exclusively with AXA employees in Paris to give the opportunity for their colleagues in offices around the world to see how the discussion should be conducted. The objective of the discussion is to share ideas about road safety in our lives and define how we could improve it. Through discussion, road safety awareness will be challenged, which will lead to an individual but formalised commitment. Therefore, the discussion ends with a written personal commitment to improving road safety awareness. The “AXA Road Safety Awareness” programme was developed for AXA employees first in English and translated into 17 different languages. |
