P.A.U. Education joins the marathonP.A.U. Education joined Nathan Farrugia, on 27 September 2011, on his marathon run through Barcelona, Spain. Nathan Farrugia will be running 27 marathons in 27 days, across 27 different EU states.
Our team, consisting of Aurora, Javier, Jose Antonio, Nicholas and Hector, joined the runner at Colón Square and continued on with him for a distance of 5 km until the end of the run in España Square.
At the end of the marathon the athlete commented that this marathon is very important as it aims to spread a message of solidarity across the EU during the European Year of Volunteering 2011, as well as raise funds that support local charity projects in each country. For the P.A.U. Education team, this was a great experience as well as an act of support towards Nathan and his mission… We would like to wish him all the best and hope that he successfully manages to complete the 27 marathons. |    |
