Record attendance in Paris: More than 8,500 participants celebrate volunteering

During one week (14-20 April 2011), more than 8,500 people had the opportunity to meet with volunteers in front of the Paris Town Hall of as part of the tour of the European Year of Volunteering, which P.A.U. Education is organising. In the European Year of Volunteering marquee that P.A.U. Education had specially designed, 150 organisations participated in more than 40 debates and many other activities related to volunteering including shows and games related to issues such as citizenship, environment, solidarity, sport, international culture, education and training.
