Sabine Schumann

Sabine is a Senior Manager coordinating international and intercultural projects since 1996. Her expertise lies in managing Corporate Social Responsibility programs and professional networks for high-level executives sharing information and best practices. She has a special interest in the linkage and interaction between Business and Society.

 

After studying European Business in Germany (ESB) and Spain (ICADE) Sabine held diverse Marketing, Advertising and General Management positions, in multinational companies in the food, automotive and service sectors.

 

Sabine had worked for P.A.U. Education during 5 years, and after a 3 years period at The Conference Board in Brussels as Council Program Director for Europe she returned to P.A.U. Education in the role of Vice Managing Director overseeing P.A.U. Education’s projects management. Sabine is a member of the Executive Committee of ELIG, the European Learning Industry Group.

 

Besides her work Sabine's biggest passion is sailing. She belonged to the National German Sailing team and was ISAF Sub World Champion in 1991. Since several years Sabine is the skipper of a 40 feet race boat with a 10 men crew participating in national and international regattas. In 2011 Sabine participated as tactician in the MedCup, the worlds leading regatta circuit.

 

Sabine is German and speaks fluent English and Spanish, and has an intermediate level of French and Catalan.
