Social networks for Road Safety in EuropeSince the creation, a few months ago, of its Facebook page and Twitter account, the European Road Safety Charter has encountered a growing success in terms of awareness on social networks.
The profiles have just reached two symbolic figures; there are now more than 100 friends on Facebook and over 150 followers on Twitter.
This presence on the social networks reflects the central role that the Charter has in Road Safety. It links the main stakeholders in Europe and from all over the world where it represents a unique example of exchange of good practices. It also demonstrates the know-how of stakeholder engagement and social networks in the field of Road Safety by our colleagues Nicholas and Daniele, who are in charge of those networks for the project.
The European Road Safety Charter is a community of stakeholders acting to help reduce road fatalities in Europe. They submit voluntary commitments on behalf of their institutions, enterprises, associations and schools from all 27 Member States.
P.A.U. Education is managing this project for the European Commission, DG MOVE, since its creation in 2004. |
